COVID-19 precautions at Winter Garden Smiles
Our Protocols and Guidelines
Hand soap and antibacterial sanitizers are available for patients in the office.
Whenever possible, we will activate high speed evacuation to minimize aerosol contamination and improve air quality.
All dental rooms have an air filtration and purification unit to remove particles smaller than COVID-19 viruses. It kills 99% of particles in the air and re-circulates clean air in the office.
Please social distance in the reception area. Appointments are spaced out to avoid a crowded office, and our waiting room has been updated to allow for safe social distancing. If visitors feel more comfortable, they may wait in the car or outside until they’re called in.
Wearing mask are optional in our facility for all patients. Our clinical team members will continue to wear their appropriate PPE including masks in the operatory.
Minimizing cross-contamination is an important part of our plan. We will ask you to dispose of any outside gloves before you enter.
For exam/hygiene only, an adult may bring one child over the age of 6 if that child is able to cooperate in the dental room while the adult completes the exam/hygiene visit. NO children are allowed during adult treatment appointments. A scheduled child may have one adult accompany them to the appointment, but no other children are allowed (including babies). If multiple children are scheduled for hygiene appointments on the same day, we will help coordinate your visit.
Along with cleaning and sanitizing during the day, we take things to another level at night with a thorough top-to-bottom scrub down. We’ve also added extra sterilization with deep cleanings before, during, and after visits, including the lobby.
